Millstone Fund awards grants two times per year: September and February.

Awards are typically limited to one time per fiscal year (October 1-September 30) per grantee organization. Geographic priority is given to organizations who serve the people of Greater Cincinnati.

Requests are not considered for:
- Endowment funds
- Loans to individuals
- Sponsorships
- Political campaigns
- Organizations outside the United States
- Reducing organizational debt
Grant Process
Letter of Inquiry deadlines: May 15 / Nov 15
- Submit an LOI here
- Millstone Fund Review Committee will review LOI to determine whether an application invitation will be offered.
Application deadlines: July 15 / Jan 15
- An application invitation link will be emailed to selected organizations following review of the LOI. The invitation to apply will be sent from Anna Coutts, who is the primary representative of our grantmaking support team at the Fifth Third Foundation office: anna.coutts@53.com
